Greece Retreat 2027 Waiver + Release Agreement
Retreat Participation Agreement & Liability Waiver

By registering for the Greece Retreat hosted by Lauren Leduc and True Love Yoga, taking place July 31–August 7, 2027 at Aegialis Hotel & Spa, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in yoga classes, workshops, excursions, physical activities, spa facilities, swimming, hiking, travel, and other retreat-related activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

physical injury
illness
emotional stress
falls or accidents
transportation-related risks
exposure to unfamiliar environments
risks associated with international travel

I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during or related to my participation in this retreat.

Health & Medical Responsibility

I certify that I am physically and mentally capable of participating in retreat activities and will participate at my own discretion.

I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician regarding any medical concerns prior to participation.

I agree to inform Lauren Leduc and/or retreat organizers of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or limitations prior to the retreat.

I understand that retreat organizers are not medical professionals and are not responsible for providing medical care.

Release of Liability

I hereby release and discharge Lauren Leduc, True Love Yoga, retreat staff, assistants, contractors, venue partners, and Aegialis Hotel & Spa from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in the retreat, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, travel disruptions, or loss.

This release applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Travel Responsibility

I understand that I am solely responsible for:

booking and managing my flights and ferry transportation
obtaining valid travel documents and identification
complying with international travel requirements
arriving at designated transfer locations on time

I understand that retreat organizers are not responsible for:

airline delays or cancellations
ferry disruptions
missed connections
lost luggage
travel interruptions
government travel restrictions
Travel Insurance Requirement

I understand that travel insurance is required for participation in this retreat.

I agree to purchase travel insurance that includes:

international medical coverage
trip cancellation/interruption coverage

I understand that failure to obtain travel insurance may result in personal financial loss in the event of cancellation, illness, travel disruption, or emergency.

Cancellation Policy Acknowledgment

I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the retreat cancellation policy.

I understand that retreat organizers enter into financial commitments with the retreat venue in advance and that refunds are limited according to the stated cancellation terms.

Photography & Media Release

I understand that photos and videos may be taken during the retreat for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes.

By participating, I grant permission for my likeness to be used by Lauren Leduc and True Love Yoga unless I notify the organizers in writing prior to the retreat.

Personal Responsibility

I agree to behave respectfully toward fellow participants, retreat staff, and local communities throughout the retreat experience.

Retreat organizers reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or harmful to the group experience without refund.
